Good videos with good, clear explanations. I'm guessing part 5 isn't up yet?

Hope he puts it as a video response to Jarrah White's garbage.

The "unequivably BUSTED" parts were corny, but the message is pretty much alright.

Yup, svector has noted his voice is no good for vo work, and that he couldn't afford a real vo artist.

I noticed it was synthesized voice when I watched the videos and was disappointed in this. However, I do concede that it is a fantastic job of synthesizing the human voice and inflections.

Perhaps someone ought to give Steven Hawking a copy of this software

If I had a microphone on my computer, I'd offer to do it for him. I was known in labs in college for excelling at what I called my "Nova voice."

Voiceover talent may be cheaper than you realize. The cheapest going rate around here is about $20 an hour for a trained actor.

Heck I used to be on the radio. I'd do it free.
edit: just to make sure you realize I have no v/o experience so my offer is in jest and to show that perhaps the spirit of this community may be generous enough to get this done one way or another.
Though I probably would give it a try if it came to that.

I would do the narrator if it wasn't for my horrible Dutch accent that still shows up despite me trying to wash that out for years.
EDIT: The whole narrator did sound really 'edited' to me, but I shrugged the possibility of a CG voice off too easily.

The part that had the James Van Allen quote sounded a lot like a computer voice, but I didn't notice that the narrator was one too. Wow.
