I know I might be starting some flames for this, but I believe the homosexual lifestyle is dangerous and there is research that backs me up... "Beliefs" really don't count for much...for instance, I "believe" that you are a self-righteous bigot and I have your posting history to back me up. See what I mean. As compared to whom? How is there an "increased incidence of disease" in a gay, monogamous relationship?? Oh, wait...there isn't, is there... Ever climb down from your ivory tower long enough to stop and think about why gays and lesbians might have a greater incidence of being "emotionally disturbed"? Could it possibly have anything to do with the crappy, judgmental way they are treated by people such as yourself? ...or from another "angle", how about those gays and lesbians who wish to be "good" people and obey god only to find that god doesn't "want" them. Think they might get a little depressed about being told that they were sinners by the god who created them? This is just idiotic...how can they "endanger" families...they are families. Why of course you do, why else would you have used gays and lesbians as an "analogy"? ...probably the worst analogy I have ever seen by the way. What cracks me up the most though, is that the more you try to appear "reasonable", the more you "reveal" yourself as the person that you really are...almost a caricature of yourself...

No apologies necessary. If you're referring to that little "exchange" we had on a woo board a couple years ago I should be apologizing to you -consider this that apology. Not necessary...I was the one who overreacted. Thanks for your generosity. Right back at cha...I am really looking forward to our "tag teaming" (like in the "old days") any woo's who might appear here in the future, as they don't stand a chance.

You don't get to threaten others' lives with misinformation. The WHO has come very close to eliminating both measles and polio, and it's idiots like these who prevent that. Absolutely. Stop 'em. This is not about some cone-heads believing we staged a couple moon-landings or collaborate with aliens in bases under Dulce, N.M., this is about trying to convince folks that vaccines/immunizations are harmful and to be avoided. No comparision IMO. I totally agree with these opinions...they state my thoughts better than I possibly could. As have I...as everyone should. aside...I'd like to take this opportunity to personally (and publically) apologize to archer17 for the way I treated him the last time we "spoke". Please accept my apologies.

Good to know I wasn't imagining the Tones were used on early Shuttle missions. I believe the last shuttle mission I watched extensively was the very first Hubble "repair", so I simply hadn't noticed until now. Thanks, Jay... I knew you would know the answer.

So yesterday and today I'm watching the Hubble space walks and find that I'm bothered by something I couldn't quite put my finger on...something was "different".
Then it "hit" me...where were the Quindar Tones?
Have I simply missed this throughout the entire shuttle program, or is this "lack" a recent development?

That makes the number of Bush anti-terror policies that Obama has preserved quite lengthy - interrogation, surveillance, rendition, state secrets, and now detention. So why do you complain about Obama?? From what you say, he is doing just what Bush would do. Shouldn't that make you happy??

Surely what makes it right is whether we are helping people in the end. Why am I not surprised that you believe that the ends justify the means.

Isn't celebrating a banning something hoax believers do? Are you saying that you see no difference?

Someone will have to hijack his posts if they want to see a response from me. You didn't respond to my question, so your post makes no sense. Do you really believe that I or anyone else here cares one way or the other? Get over yourself.

It might not take a dozen years for American historians to rehabilitate his image. Now that's never going to happen. Not while there are rational people in this country.
