I saw it at a documentary film festival in April and it's showing at a small local theatre here this week. I'll get it on DVD next time I place an order.

Remember that even when the Apollo surface cameras were color they still did not use YCbCr. The early static color cameras (Apollo 12-14) and the later LRV mounted color cameras were field sequential RGB (black and white cameras with a color wheel). Combining the individual color frames was done on the ground. This avoided having either three vidicons or complicated/bulky delay circuits built into the lunar surface camera - a weight saving. So based on the history of the Apollo TV cameras, a black and white image was only a third of the color bandwidth.

There's a comment by Cernan about something of the sort on the Apollo 17 ALSJ. Cernan and Schmitt share a joke while they're working and it's turned into a theory that an alien spacecraft landed next to them. 118:39:41 Cernan: Okay. (Pause) Hey, Jack, you notice there's none of those guys up there holding those hoses as we go around the LM? 118:39:52 Schmitt: What do you mean? I saw one just a minute ago.

And a hawk from a handsaw. Ah, but can you do it when the wind is north-north-west? That's the real test.

Where I live, you could sit outside all day without getting burnedIf that's Newcastle as in Newcastle Upon Tyne then I beg to differ. I got slightly sunburnt on a day trip visiting Housesteads Roman Fort, Chesters Fort and the Corbridge Roman site.

Oh, if anyone is interested, the B/W image in Jack's Undeniable proof of Apollo photo fakery! thread which has already been debunked and retracted is AS17-138-21099 - one of the mylar reflection photos.

Welcome to the board.
We'll see whether Jack White ever gets around to fixing any of his claims on the web site.

David Heagney expertly destroys a few more pages of Jack White's Pentagon 9/11 work on The Education Forum.

I alway liked the Tikka to Ride theory that a group of inept time travellers go back and accidentally disrupt Oswald's shot sequence. In this new timeline JFK is only wounded but goes on to get impeached due to a scandal in 1964. Kennedy is then visited by the time travellers who convince him that the way to restore his honor and place in history is for he himself to go back to November 1963, set up on the grassy knoll (in a policeman's uniform) and shoot his previous self with a high powered rifle.
So the shooters were Oswald and Kennedy.

Actually, I was going to suggest that you give the Mike Dinn and John Saxon interviews from Conversations to that guy on The Education Forum that asked about Australian involvement.

In the latest Conversations With Apollo, Gerry Griffin says that he thinks a possible cause of the delay was misconfiguration of the comm either in the cockpit or somewhere on the ground.
