The reason is one of angular resolution. Yet they cannot even understand that terminology because they have not ever studied Optics. They cannot fathom what 240,000 miles distance actually is. Nitpicking, but I think it's more an inability to understand the size of Hubble's other "targets"

I'm not going to unban him, but if people think I'm overreacting I will consider reducing it to a temporary ban. Don't bother. IMHO it is rather clear this debate was leading nowhere, and he was only interested in trolling with his "it's impossible to prove history, and I will totally ignore all ideas of being reasonable sure".

Apparently his new series is peer reviewed, but the source of review remains anonymous. White, Fetzer, Judy Wood...

There are some really stupid claims in his email. Has any one come across anything dumber? It seems to be about average for the typical moonlandingdenying idiot.

On the Star Trek forums, one guy there tries to push the UFO=alien spacecraft idea by citing who he calls scientists. BTW as a rule of thumb, any unnamed scientist is probably invented.

Why? Is it a mental problem? For some, IMHO yes, though perhaps not bad or serious enough for medical attention. Any fraud that is as inept at lying as Jack, Jarrah & Co would be out of business...

It was actually a stray from a secret military project to launch a group of cattle on one orbit around the earth: The Herd Shot 'Round The World. And that's why we need "space cowboys" www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Q3pdj9p6yI

I loved how he states that if you believe that the bomb was dropped untested that you would believe the Earth was rotating.... Why would the Earth rotate, everyone knows it is flat and the sun revolves around it...

If the landing was a hoax, a lot of people would have died BEFORE they became famous* - Kaysing would have an accident in whatever year he started his nonsense - Baron would have had his accident before he went to congress - Sibrel would have an accident soon after he annoyed Armstrong - White Fetzer and straydog would have likewise had accidents long ago etc
*to any sane person this would be more a case of "infamous for their stupidity"

I can't do links from my phone. Go to page 44 of the Fetzer/Burton thread on the Education Forum. A word of warning, make sure to swallow any liquids and pad your desks before you continue to page 45.
