Your banishment is news to me.

First off, it was a one month banning. Not permanent. So why complain? Second, yes, it was fair. Why? Because, you're talking non-Apollo subjects in the "Hoax Theory" section. You were told more than once to stick to Apollo subject matter. Instead, you continued to bring up stuff on "global coverups" and 9/11. If you can't follow simple requests, then you open yourself up for more drastic action.

The viewers can decide for themselves whether it was fair or not.
I think that's a good idea, actually.

I vote for fair. If you ignore a mod's warnings, what do you expect?

This complaint is just like your conspiracy arguments. Set your own rules for how things should be and then complain when other point out that your views do not match with reality.

Oh, it was fair. You were warned to stay on topic, but you couldn't restrain yourself. You spammed an Apollo subforum with your usual assortment of video links about everything but Apollo, even though you had another subforum available to you specifically for that purpose. You chose to ignore the warning, you were banned for a month, and now, as the forum owner promised, you are able to post here again. I'll give you credit for one thing, though: so far you have managed to stay on-topic in the Apollo subforum. You are still repeating the same tired claims, even though you had your head handed to you previously by people who actually understood the topic, and explained it to you at length; you are still acting as if none of that ever happened; you are still piling on the "they were lying/you were lying/he, she, it was lying" claims instead of actually offering the slightest shred of evidence for anything; but at least the CT pap you regurgitate is on-topic pap.

Anyone who ignores a direct warning should be banned for stupidity if nothing else.

I first put this data on this thread to give examples of scientist who disagree with each other because a lot of people who post on this forum seem to consider what scientists say to be conclusive proof. apollohoax.proboards21.com/index.cgi?board=theories&action=display&thread=1169203802&page=10(reply #136) I wanted to show that scientists are capable of selling out and consciously writing bogus reports. I was told that this was going off-topic so I started another thread specifically to be able to discuss dishonesty among scientists and in the US press. I think this is very relevant to this discussion as lots of people seem to take the Apollo data as the gospel truth and don't consider the possibility of its being bogus. If the official version of the depleted uranium issue and the genetially-modified foods issue and American foreign policy are all bogus, why should we take the Apollo data as the gospel truth? I think this is a valid discussion for this thread. Not letting me use other examples of dishonesty among scientists and the government amounts to tying my hands so I can't present my case.

You are begging the question. I do not take Apollo data as "the gospel truth", and I am confident that statement applies to most of the regulars here. It so happens I am qualified to evaluate much of the Apollo data through education and experience, and I have worked with and for Apollo engineers and Apollo-era astronauts. Other members here are also qualified to examine the Apollo record through their own training and experience. Yet other members have simply educated themselves about the record and the relevant principles, which you have absolutely failed to do despite having plenty of time to post here.
You can't seem to make up your mind whether we're "con men" or "take Apollo as gospel", but you endlessly and mindlessly repeat the same tired claims from CT web sites without ever examining them critically, or learning about the subject, or questioning the known deceptive histories of many of these CT proponents. Pot, kettle, black.
You are also apparently incapable of grasping the notion that people who actually know something about Apollo disagree with you and yet are neither liars nor deluded. Nothing more clearly demonstrates your absolute need to avoid questioning your own worldview. Or perhaps the limitations of your ELIZA programming; I haven't decided which.

And either way, this discussion is certainly better-suited to its own thread.

Rocky, rather than insisting on extoling the virtues of such non-Apollo-related conspiracy theories as Depleted Uranium poisoning, genetically-modified foodstuff problems, and alleged American policy blunders in an Apollo forum, you should have placed posts concerning these items in the "Other Conpiracy Theories" section, and discussed them there. You could make a refrence in the Apollo sections something along the lines of "see my posts concerning depleted uranium in the 'Other Conspiracy Theories' section" and not been banned.

totally fair. You broke the rules and you didn't listen to the moderator when advised otherwise. Quit whining about it and get on with your life. Do you seriously not have anything better to do?

The viewers can decide for themselves whether it was fair or not.
It was fair. You ignored warnings from the mod and failed to follow the advice you were given. You were told that if you continued you would be banned. You can't complain if you continue doing something you have been told will get you banned and get banned for doing it!
If the official version of the depleted uranium issue and the genetially-modified foods issue and American foreign policy are all bogus, why should we take the Apollo data as the gospel truth?
We do not take it as 'gospel truth', we are simply more qualified to judge it than you are. The fact that one lot of data are bogus doesn't cast doubt on everything. The depleted uranium has no bearing on the validity of the Apollo data, and the reasons for accepting the Apollo data have been given to you over and over and over again.
However, this is beside the point and not suited to this thread. You were banned for a month just as you were warned you would be. That is fair. There's nothing to be gained by whinging about it now.
