Then there was also his "polar" orbit that had the craft orbiting east west but staying parallel to the equator up by the arctic circle. Yes, and Jay pointed out to us that the orbital plane must intersect the CofM of the orbited body... unfortunate that he disappeared after that, then the forum went kablooey and folks got banned or just dropped.

I knew going in there was no point in trying to debate with him. I am just glad was able to throw in some good points to consider for the people that may watch his video and think he has all the answers. As long as he's busy making rebuttals to your factual points, he can't create his propaganda videos. That's a good thing. The less disinformation about Apollo, the better. Jarrah's head is buried so deep in the sand that ostriches are starting to make fun of him. He *still* won't admit that YouTube disallows videos longer than roughly 10 minutes in length, despite accusing me of lying about that very fact several months ago, and despite the fact that he himself cannot seem to create one longer than 10~ minutes. Next time you have an exchange, (if you're able) try asking him if he still believes the 10 minute rule is bogus. It should get him quite agitated.

JW's hilarious face-saver for this embarrassment, was that he was "testing" the pro-Apollo nutters by intentionally offering up a ludicrous theory to see how many of them would bite. Curiously, he still hasn't countered the original point, which was the glaring absence of an orbiting capsule between TLI and re-entry.

I had joined the discussion at that point, he had quickly taken his drawing down for revision, so I never did see it. His whole scheme was so convoluted, just couldn't get anything to fulfill the days of real time, uninterrupted data and comm flow to/from dishes pointed towards the sky ahead of the Moon. It's easy to cry "hoax", but much, much more difficult to actually create and execute it.

Speaking of YouTube, a user named NQG666 just posted the infamous "Bart Sibrel's Top Fifteen" list under comments for Part 6 of In The Shadow of the Moon. And they posted them separately so it was a long list of comments. I was surprised to see them include the part about Michael Collins refusing interviews. Don't they realize he was interviewed in the very documentary they're commenting on? Is it so hard to actually watch something on YouTube before you shoot your mouth off?

Why is "In the Shadow of the Moon" even on YouTube? Seeing that it was only recently in theaters and is being released on DVD in February, I think there is some copyright infringement going on there.

While the HB watch the YouTube videos, I'll be enjoying the DVDs I got for Christmas, all filmed by IMAX: Blue Planet, Destiny in Space and Dream is Alive. Spectacular photography. And I get narration by Walter Chronkite and Leonard Nimoy.

I figured it was probably a copyright infringement but the documentary didn't get released where I live, so I was still glad to see it.

It is testing my principles, that's for sure. I don't like piracy at all so I'm probably not going to watch the YouTube copy, but it is definitely tempting. I almost made the bus trip to Toronto to see it, but decided to wait for the DVD.

;D Yeah, I live in Hamilton so Toronto is an improvement, but it is still something I try to avoid.

If my son ends up going to McMaster instead of UofT you'll have to point out to me the places to avoid in Hamilton. His best friend is presently going to McMaster and just loves it, but I don't think he's talking about the city itself. And what's with all the one way streets?
