There's a book you should read, rocky: "Focault's Pendulum", by Umberto Eco

Rocky read a book? Yeah, right. If it isn't in video form he will ignore it.

It seems that we're being lied to by the government about a lot of science-related things. How is any of this "space-related"?

It seems that we're being lied to by the government about a lot of science-related things. How is any of this "space-related"? Indeed, where are the scientists screaming about the "bogus" space environment data being disseminated by evilNASA, evilCorp, ...the Universities, the high schools...the, uh, textbooks...ESA...uh... OMG!!! it's a vast, intricate, perfectly formed black hole conspiracy!!! (runs to hide under bed...)

Obviously it's not related to space. Since Rocky doesn't know much about space, the only way he can try to make a case that space science is bogus is to claim that all science is bogus. Fascinating to see the extent to which entrenched people have to rewrite reality.

I'm not sure what the sound of being painted into a corner sounds like, but I think I hear it.

So, could anybody tell me (with words, like these) what the evidence for the allegation is? I'm not interested in what videos rocky found.

How about it, Rocky? Care to tell us in your own words what your little conspiracy theory is this time? Or are incapable of speaking for yourself?

We nuked the Moon? (no, wait...that was the plan of some goofus in the 60s as a "politico/publicity" scheme, which didn't happen for obvious reasons.) NASA TV again... showing the "Grand Prix"...

I'm not sure what the sound of being painted into a corner sounds like, but I think I hear it. In Italian it's the screeching sound of nails on glass when somebody is trying to climb mirrors (you know, to get out of the corner...).

I generally don't spend any time watching videos (and that goes for anti-conspiracist ones as well), and have no interest in doing so now. But the funny thing about the NMD claims is that while there have been spin and rosy assessments from its backers which could reasonably (at least to non-lawyers like us) be called "fraud", for the entire history of this project there have been well-informed criticisms, published in mainstream media, of the project in political, managerial and technical terms, and challenges to the setup and results of just about every test. The Postol essay is just one of them.
rocky's own references undermine his implicit claim that science frauds can be pulled off successfully. He thinks he can point to some random example demonstrating the existence of such fraud in general and use it as support for a specific fraud, succesfully concealed in a completely different subject. But the whistleblowing and widespread criticism in his chosen example knocks his own crutch out from under him.
Poor rocky. He just doesn't get it. But that's what happens when Googling is substituted for thinking.

Rocky, do you have a point to all this? I mean, what are you trying to prove?
I really doubt you understand anything in your OWN sources. The only words you seem to understand are "fraud", "government", "US", and "conspiracy". Highly doubtful you even understand "science". The rest has got to be beyond you.
I say this, because the Boston.com article refers to a missle defense system. It does not say a thing about science fraud.
That second article is little more than another nut-job going on about "New World Order" B.S.
Sad. Just sad how you work.

"Focault's Pendulum", by Umberto Eco
I started reading that book years ago and I somehow lost it. You've just reminded me to go to the library and get it again. One of the most intelligent writers I've ever read. I should read The Name of the Rose too - the movie was really good!
