I think some people would be interested in this book.I think its great! I HAVE NO DOUBT THE GERMANS WERE ONTO SOMETHING! & that Paperclip (was also) a continuation of their discoveries
I love German aircraft & I collect German memorabilia(the other day I got an Afrika Korp cuff title to add to my collection

The U.S. also experimented with flying discs. Result: they don't fly so well.

The two main problems are the low efficiency (lift/drag), which goes with the short span/chord ratio, and the lack of stability in responding to cross-winds.

I an not referring to Roswell or EBE
why don't you go and talk to Stanton friedman
that is another issue
I was talking about hitlers flying saucers and the technology

besides they were probably wearing black uniforms!(ha!ha!(german flying saucers were product of the SS)
OBTW I am a german collector (and I have an ss cuff title "Theodore Eicke"
and no I am not a closet nazi my best friend is a Pacific Islander
nazi's need a taste of their own medicine (Zyklon B) my father killed them in the war
for my interest I like German tanks,aircraft,weapons...flying saucers!

Most of us are familiar with the claims of Stanton Friedman.
Hitler's flying-saucer technology is/was subject the same laws of physics as the stuff we did. The stuff we did proved that the flying-saucer form factor exhibits undesirable aerodynamics. Had Hitler's scientists continued their work, they doubtless would have discovered the same.

Jay Utah
I think you might be interested in the the book ( by Stevens) another good book is The Hunt For Zero Point Energy(Nick Cook)
what I find interesting is the famous Trent ufo photo and something similar was photographed over Nelson,NZ in the 50's

I'm familiar with Nick Cook's (lack of) work. Innuendo is not science.
Do you argue the Nazi flying saucers used secret anti-gravity technology? If so, do you have any evidence beyond the non-scientist Nick Cook's book?
What do the Trent UFO photos have to do with Nazi flying saucers?

I doubt I'd be interested in the Stevens book, unless he explains the actual science and does more than simply rehash old rumors. In pseudoscientific circles, it's very common to write a book every five years or so that just dusts off the same claims that were made by the previous works. "New" books with old claims maintain the illusion of keeping the claims current, even if there's nothing new to support them (nor ever was).

yeah,I understand what your saying, I have a DVD on this sort of thing as well and it is a german guy talking about this phenomenon from his experiences(but yes it is a nebulous area) and something I am interested in!I think whatever technology has been used it has been suppressed ...I don't know...???it's using special kind of turbines(?)

...and something I am interested in!
Nothing wrong with that. But whenever I read books written by people who aren't qualified in the subjects about which they write, I tend to come away feeling insulted.
I think whatever technology has been used it has been suppressed
Or never existed.
it's using special kind of turbines(?)
I know an awful lot about turbines. Unfortunately none of these authors gives enough detail to allow a real engineer or scientist to investigate the idea. That's the hallmark of pseudoscience: allude to only as much as will convince the lay reader that there might be something there, but not to as much as will allow a qualified practitioner to identify your specific brand of hogwash.

like I say I still keep open mind. How do you define a real engineer, scientist!
my favouite engineer/scientist is Leonardo Da Vinci
qualified engineers build bridges, they also fall down
qualified engineers build 747s, my friend use to fly 747's for qantas and had a total instrument failure something the qualified engineers had not anticiapated..I said how did you fly it back into Sydney airport (he said like a cessna) he was also a navy pilot....experience
hogwash,hmmm don't think so...anything is possible
I belong to kiwiingenuity which has professional and amateur engineers involved with different projects.I don't have an engineering degree but I know how an aircraft produces lift. I amazed at the weight of a fully loaded C5A galaxy..incredible it can get of the ground!!
Riichard Pearse could not afford a proper education and he ended with having patents.. I consider him a real engineer
so its all a matter of perspective really,to me real engineers are POSITIVE,when real (qualified engineers) said their ideas would not succeed
I was watching mythbusters last night...what a joke!
its just a weak black and white logic, trying to prove things..yes !I am sure what they present is "real" once again the "scientific method"...I think there is a difference between a REAL elephant and a PSEUDO mechanical elephant...so like I say the PSEUDO(scientific method is hogwash)
I will continue the flying saucer study
also it's a been a pleasure to meet you (your good and I enjoy your company...do I have to be scientist to prove it!
take care Jay
make your dreams come true
Paul
