I want to say that's what's irrational is how this talk has caused so much heated debate.
Can people not simply accept differences in opinion?

Why did they have to wash the Apollo astronaut's potty mouths after they returned to Earth? Brings something fun to mind; what sort of potty mouths did they have on missions? Only one I've seen is from Apollo 10, when the ascent stage did a tumble not long after seperation.

Why did they have to carwash the astronauts' Corvettes upon their return? They only drove Corvettes? Now there's the real conspiracy! Just have to figure it out....

Let's all get along, agree to disagree, okay? It's not like the topic of the hoax theory, where there's science to back us up. This subject delves into opinion. I'm sorry, but I think the subject of whether or not what the US does is torture is very important. I agree that the subject of someone's upbringing is not necessarily relevant to that issue, but I do think it's very important that the US acknowledging that, oh, waterboarding is torture. Clearly, so does Obama. I intended to refer to the original intent of this thread; leaving Bush behind, and looking forward to what Obama brings. I do agree that it is important to address the issue of torture. It really ought to get it's own thread. This one has long since departed the tracks.

That is quite a number of expierences your grandfather had, Trevor. That's the way to live life; never stop learning, and making the most of it.
My grandfather may be close to his time; right now, he's advanced with Alziemhers. He certainly isn't the same person I knew him to be. I can only hope he has a peaceful farewell too.

We shouldn't get overly excited over this topic, my friends.
We have a new man in office. That's all that really matters.
Let's not call each other delusional over our different opinions and views of the world. And let's certainly not go over our upbringings, religious or otherwise.
The topic isn't worth the frustration people are exhibiting.

This makes me wonder; how do the astronauts on the ISS wash their laundry?

Shows he had a firm grasp of reality too, and maybe even the need for speed!
I'd like to guess whom. May I have a hint?

Unfortunately most conspiracy theorists believe that their ability to spot Apollo "fakes" makes them experts. Not surprising, since they think a person with a degree in English literature was an engineer and that a college dropout was a brilliant physicist.

You probably learned by osmosis. Did you sleep on the book? My aunt fell asleep while studing for a test, with the book as her pillow. I think she got an "A".

Why did they have to brainwash the Apollo astronouts after they returned to Earth? You sure you aren't the one that is brainwashed?

None appearently can discuss any basic aspect of any field of science, for that matter. I have a feeling the HB crowd are the types that slept through science classes. That, or they just drew in the books or on the desks.
