It's a sport which has long been the victim of a cover-up by Americans. Never mind JFK or 9/11, this is the real conspiracy! ;-) What coverup? I have multiple crickets in my back yard. And Kiwi listen to them all the time. They hung around a guy called Buddy. And some Canadians play cricket, although I haven't witnessed that myself. Saw it on the sports channel once though...

www.theage.com.au/news/books/jesus-played-cricket/2008/08/08/1218139059829.html"It is possible that cricket, a game venerated all over the Commonwealth, is older than currently thought. In fact, Jesus may very well have played the game (or a similar bat and ball contraption) as a child himself, according to an ancient Armenian manuscript... "...in the Armenian Gospel of the Infancy, translated into Armenian in the 6th century from a much older lost Syriac original, a passage tells of Jesus playing what may well be the precursor of cricket, with a club and ball... "'The most amazing part of the story of the nine-year-old Jesus playing a form of cricket with the boys at the sea shore, is that he would go on playing the game on water, over the sea waves.''' ha ha apocryphal no doubt. What is cricket again?

Same here. Although I have many books, they are for the most part generalising topics - astronomy, space etc. I'd love to find a really good illustrated book on the history of satellites. I do have a great book, "The Encyclopedia of Space" but it is from 1969. Actually, I want to start a thread with quotes from the book to see if some of the information is outdated.

Also the buggies were ordinary buggies how was it the fuel did not freeze?
What NASA need to answer is this, why when the astronauts claimed they could hardly make a fist in the space suit they managed to start and drive a buggy, these buggies must have been stored with protective casing of some sort as they have sat equipment on them how was the casing removed when they could hardly move their hands, and each buggy must have taken up masssive amount of space where did they fit in the lander?. No footage as ever been released of the buggies in storage or exiting craft.
NASA has so many high powered telescopes in space they could easily take pictures of the FLAG, MOON BUGGY, APOLLO 11 launch pad all must be still on the moon. There must have been a CAMERA left on the moon that took the film of Apollo 11 taking off back to earth! Or was it filmed in a studio? OF COURSE IT WAS !
Get a huge telescope and look for the flag on the moon, and if it is not there then we will know it was staged!
today every one can see that it was a hoax by the poorly done videos with a lot of mistakes.
when me and my dad said at space camp to a supervisor about the moon landing and they gave us a seorious look and said thats classified
I didn't know that! do you know where I can find some info on that? now I'm really interested! they actually landed?
Von Braun also said that the shelter of a cave would be necessary to protect lunar astronauts from micro-meteorites traveling at 60,000 m.p.h.
It was a huge hoax and this cracked me up. Look at the facts.
de from 1950s technology implemented in the 60s.. yet it travelled 5 times farther than the current space shuttle... National pride built on lies
The magnetosphere cannot be traversed. There will be no manned moon flights till the spatial radiation problem is resolved.
those rocks which were analyzed were 99% similar in composition to the earths rocks, they couldnt find any differences so they gave a 1% margin of error
. it was staged. radiation would have killed them
This is just from the first two videos I looked at.. ;D

This community might be just a little bit too small for a chat. Still, I'm in now. I think the best thing to do would be to 'schedule' a time where a few of us can meet in the chatroom. Maybe on the weekend, early afternoon or a time convenient to all - after all we want some Aussies and Kiwis to attend! I guess you are about seven hours ahead of me, which is four hours ahead of Utah. I guess it would be tough to have all the regulars there at one time? Who's interested? I guess it would be very late here to have Australia and whereabouts attending - that's okay with me as long as I don't drink anything with alcohol. That's a thought. How about everybody show up after drinking a few 'pops'. There would be quite the mess to clean up. Which reminds me once again - where has furi gone to? He hasn't posted since December of 2007,

Alright, I'm in. It's am empty room LO. Empty, I tell ya. Might take awhile for anybody to visit. Would work if maybe we scheduled some times for a bunch of us to be there. BAUT has ten times the membership there and there's harldly anyone ever in the chatroom still...

I got in using Opera, but it wouldn't let me type any characters in the login window.

I came across an old Celtic joke once but didn't record it. It would have been anywhere from 50 B.C. to about 400 A.D.
Considering that the celts have been around since 3000 B.C., I'm sure that there are a lot of older jokes that aren't recorded - they were illiterate for quite some time.

I think that most regulars here are also members of BAUT. And they have a chatroom in testing phase. Anyone interested in setting up a date and time and meeting at the BAUT chatroom? Could be fun, could be scary, who knows.

Is this really supposed to be a serious thread? Personally, I thought the 'Paul is Dead' theory had more substance to it. I wonder why alternate technology that doesn't exist - largescale holographic projections, hurricane alteration and mass video editing - is proposed as causes instead of the simpler, reality based ones. Talk about making things complicated...

cbbrooklyn, the problem everyone is having here is that you aren't connecting any dots. I could just as easily say that the WTC collapses were caused by a controlled mini-earthquake powered by a thermal energy generation station in Canada. I could claim that clearly the buildings collapsed due to earthquake-like stresses. I could point out that there were three recorded quakes in Canada in August of 2001 -- but only TWO in September. earthquakescanada.nrcan.gc.ca/recent_eq/2001/index_e.phpWhy only TWO in September? Where did that extra energy go? My theory points DIRECTLY to the nefarious use of seismic activity to destroy the WTC buildings. But it is actually just a bunch of random ideas stuck together. That is what Dr. Wood is doing. There was a hurricane in the Atlantic -- but NOBODY was predicting that it would get anywhere near land -- so nobody cared. Contrails are well-understood, as has been pointed out. It is just that you don't really understand them. You are very imaginative about contrails, but your imagination has gotten the better of you. The whole world saw the second plane hit WTC 2. Video shows the first plane hitting WTC 1. That is very strong evidence that planes impacting the towers and starting fires had something to do with the towers falling. I think you phrased that very well, wdmundt. 'Connecting the dots'
