It's easy to turn off a brain. Turning it back on is much harder, for some certain people. *wink wink, nudge nudge* Of course, just kidding.

True I got myself into the mindset of someone that believes in common sense and belief rather than physical or calculable evidence.

True I got myself into the mindset of someone that believes in common sense and belief rather than physical or calculable evidence. But can't define either of these... we know the type.

Yes, common sense and belief tell us that no one could possibly be as dense as most HB's appear to be, however physical and calculatable evidence proves this to be wrong.

Well the first could be anything. The second two look like one of the standard missions. Anyone with all the DVD's want to look through their Apollo footage and see if they have a match? I only have 11, 15 and 16.

I agree, the crew entry is probably standard footage, rather than what I suggested. I've just pulled my copy of Capricorn One out of storage and there is no resemblance to what's shown.
It's interesting to note that there are two 'flashes' at about ten second intervals during the 'crew entry' footage. Presumably the footage has been cut and spliced to avoid showing the Astronauts faces which would give the game away...
Could they have used footage from different missions?
Without having a copy of the 'raw' footage I'm not going to comment on the 'launchpad' footage save to say that the HBs to claim this 'proves' anything have unacceptably low standards of evidence, there is no background to the pictures to show just where it is or which Apollo is being worked on, for all we know that could be Apollo 7 to 17.
As for the 'surface' footage could it be a reproduction of the Declaration of Independence shot through a green filter?

There's no one problem with trying to launch an S-5 out of Vandenberg,. I remember reading in This New Ocean that a busy passenger railway runs right through the complex and on several occassions secret satellite launches were nearly cancelled because a train load of commuters was about to see a secret launch. So then how could a full size S-5 have been assembled and launched here without anyone noticing?
This story is laughable! ;D

There would be more than a couple of 400 foot structures there as well, kind of hard to hide...some assembly building, LUT, MSS... ...there's no way this guy is serious...is there?

In respect to the person posting the vids I have no idea, it could just turn out to be a viral marketing campaign for some movie or other... As for the people watching the vids there are several people who are taking this surprisingly seriously. There is a website promoting the vids using Creationist 'teach the controversy' tactics whose author has definitely read this thread in the past and is using it in their site. There are also several individuals who cannot seem to accept that Apollo 18-20 were canceled and their CSMs used to support Skylab and the ASTP. As far as these people are concerned it's "...official pap." BTW has anyone managed to identify the CSM entry footage that the hoaxer is using for his latest Apollo 20 vid?

BTW has anyone managed to identify the CSM entry footage that the hoaxer is using for his latest Apollo 20 vid? Got a link? Here you go: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlMZU9XHSrU&mode=user&search=This and a couple of other items can be found in post #81, the other items include some footage of someone walking on a launch gantry with what looks like an Apollo capsule in the background and some shots of a handwritten document through a green filter which is claimed to be 'alien writing'. Edit: The hoaxer has posted another vid, this time its purported footage of the landing site taken from the CSM: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_He2EGu7pKk&mode=user&search=Here is the hoaxers explanation for the footage straight off Youtube

Oh, so you were talking about the CSM ingress footage. When you said "entry" I thought maybe you were taking about some reentry/landing film sequences that I hadn't seen yet. To answer your question, no, I can't see anything in the video that identified the mission. Perhaps someone who had the DVDs can match it to a particular mission.
