I have to go but it was on TV last week. If the Saturn was so great they'd still be using it, even if they don't go to the moon.

In what way is the Delta "three times that of the Saturn V"? Phallicness?

The Delta IV HEAVY out does the Saturn V. If you really believe that, you’re a fool. No, 118,000 kilograms.

So, how does this work? You get on, say something ambiguous like "a cricket ball is three times a soccer ball" leaving others to wonder three times what - dense? popular? surely not size, because someone retrieves the size stats--? Then, you say 'Haha' and leave for two days?

The scrapping of the Saturn V was a travesty, but was done so that the Shuttle wouldn't have a competitor. This attitude was changed with the Challenger accident, but by then it was too late for the Saturn V

I think you may be on to something there, tofu. "Three times" indeed.
