... But it was still the case that throwing any number of those switches on the control panel at the wrong time would kill you. "Now... Swigert could take it no more... He jumped up into the command module and scrounged around until he found a piece of paper and a small strip of silver duct tape....he...wrote a large, block-letter "NO" on the slip of paper and taped it to the LM JETT switch. He lifted the paper to make doubly sure it was the LM JETT switch and not the SM JETT switch he had taped it to. Then he checked again." from Lost Moon Jim Lovell & Jeffrey Kluger. Houghton Mifflin Company, 1994

Well then; zero Earth gravity (This gravity seems to be a "serious" thing!) ;D

If you could somehow manage to get to the exact center of the earth you would be effectively in zero gravity. And true zero gravity; not orbital "free-fall".

...We experience the maximum gravitational force here on the surface of the Earth.

He (Antonio Zikos) implies that the gravitational force would be greater the deeper that one travels; I believe (correct me if I'm mistaken) that the gravitational force would decrease by a miniscule amount the deeper that one goes.

German Lufthansa is known for rather not been interested to engage military pilots, as well as "bush-pilots with africa-experience" due to their "mentality", maybe avoiding standard procedures in certain situations, taking headstrong decisions and therefor might dangerously split the team in emergency cases. This is definitely not wanted for civil aviation. Teamwork has 1st priority since security is more important than heroism. IMHO; Lufthansa could learn something from Chesley Sullenberger!(ex-military pilot) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chesley_Sullenberger

It's obvious; since NASA was involved, it was faked

One one of the later missions, an EVA was scheduled on a weekday during school hours. After only enough begging that my mom believed that watching it was important to me, she let me stay home from school. I sat glued to my TV in awe for the whole broadcast. Despite the fine education I was receiving, I never had a day in the classroom that was so wonderful. It was made more special because my mother had acknowledged the importance and let me have some control over my own education. We did have a cool science teacher that made sure each class was able to watch one period of moon EVA during the year, if possible. Glad it wasn't Apollo 12

It was a thrill; sometimes it seems like a dream! I wish that I could've been directly involved.

... you can't really even see the 2nd stage engines burning in the same way as the first.... Saturn V first stage, F1 engines used kerosene fuel propellant; second stage, J2 engines fuel was liquid hydrogen.

...its a disgrace to the 400,000 people who gave their all to make it possible for us to win the race to the moon when people say it was fake.... Bingo! (When were you born, astronaut23?)
