inquisitivemind; These are the accepted acronyms: CM = Command Module SM = Service Module CSM = Command and Service Module (docked) LM = Lunar Module (note: LM is pronounced "lem" but that acronym {LEM} was discarded before any Apollo flights were made)

What caused the "Big F***ing Red (orange) Cloud" at ignition of a TitanII? The Aerozine 50 and dinitrogen tetroxide propellants seem to react cleanly once off the pad?

Anybody know how ullage was achieved for the SIVB TLI burn? (BobB's Apollo pages states that there were 2 ullage motors and they were jettisoned after the first ullage.)
