I must admit my Russian is seriously limited to requests for drinks hello and goodbye, but I could pick it up a bit I tend to be OK at languages.
I had to calculate my BMI I am 20.1 eeek Better not go for a large dump if I get to the medical stage.
But I still have to give it a shot... just for the sheer wonderment of if successful sticking it on the accomplishment list on your CV.

No Partic. Order, and just what I feel atm
Dark Star Scanners Clockwork Orange* 12 Monkeys Fifth Element Forbidden Planet* Silent Running* Blade Runner The Day the Earth stood Still Slaughterhouse 5 (prefer the book though) When Worlds Collide* Delicatessan Final Fantasy - The Spirits within Alien (meh make that all of them and the directors version espescially for 3) Fail Safe (and Dr Strangelove) Threads* Brazil* 1984
(hmm a bit of a theme I feel) *Definate top 10 list permanent members
If we can have mini series Das Boot would be in the 10 and Band of Brothers could be in top 20.
Could add A Scanner Darkly, and Watership down as well I supppose, there was a couple of German and Russian Films that I have really liked but couldn't remember the names

As firefox doesn't mask out the Brighter HT image (the soldier) but only uniformly adds the highlight colour to all pixels (Blue by default, Grey on mine) the Half Bright Secondary picture (Whe Female) is also filtered by the same amount, the result is that the secondary picture is still not perceptable below the brighter image.
The eyes colour perception for detail is no where near the same as luminesence, and although the detail problems are there visible as luminance errors, the colour level and luminence for the secondary pic is so low that it doesnt register.

aha, just opened it in IE and not netscape, Mask and highlight works there,
I would assume that the second image is the offset of my normal mask, so my mask in firefox was actually removing the female component, where as the complementary mask in IE masks the soldier input,
On opening up inside a viewer and expanding it, you can see the 2 interpolated images seperate on a zoom, this is why the eyes all looked like a seperate picture, they are out of orientation. the primary picture of a soldier is predominantly Red through Green, and the eyes are almost coherent colours in both images, that was why it sent my vision and perspective screwy, it was a relative area that wasn't in HalfTone
neat effect though, not sure if IE defaults to a straight through colour mask or if it Xors it, I think the Soldier image is a promary image due to the palette being 2+ higher in Value

I see the same picture Highlighted with an opaque filter, this might just be a colour thing for myself, I also have a wierd colour scheme for highlighted texts and pictures, a 50% HT mask in 50% grey. but can still define A soldier pointing a weapon, in field cam however the eyes look even more out of place lol.
My perception must be off balance, I'll try it later after I've been the Quakerhouse.

Do you mean that the facial structure tuns more feminine, or that the shapes described by areas of the photograph turn into a female shape, personally I see neither. although having lived on Catterick Garrison for a while I am quite used to seeing uniformed Cammed up Fems carrying weapons on the Ranges or on Guard duties.
The area around the eyes seems especially fouled up to me, (especially the eyelashes), infact I would say that the eyes have been taken from a different picture.
If it is the former where the shape takes on more feminine characteristics, that may just be to subtle highlighting of facial structure that we attribute to female faces and if I remember correctly facial recognition is one of the first sight memories and key strengths we learn as an infant,to help identify with voice a typical friend foe and food (we tend to see abstracted shapes take on the form of a face even out of context, and can apply Masculine and Feminine Characteristics to a crude drawing even) , if it is the latter where patterned areas highlight a female form, then that could be similar to applying those abstracted areas and anthropomorphising them into a form acceptable to us.
Both Myself with my cruddy colour vision, and 6 work colleagues could not see any morphing or translation to a specifically female face or form in that picture.

Haven't Watched it in years (are we talking about the original or the remake), excluding any specific horror aspect, its impact was significant, Jabba (my old dog) was constantly referred to people as a Devil Dog (awww she was a cute Tank of a Rottweiler), I think the part that was the most terror (wrong word) inducing, was both the idea that peoples belief could cause such behaviour, including Matricide and Infanticide (The Furies certainly would have had a field day)
Goldstein's Ave Satani was my Ring tone for a while on the phone, (now have Aleggris Misere et Deus)
I know there is an entire age group with very very few Damiens for a boys name in the UK, and most people will still make a joke if any person named Damien is involved in an accident.
As to the whole Antichrist type stuff, didn't affect the story much, just a plot device, have seen similar stories based on Voodoo Greek, Roman, Myths, might have more of a dramatic effect on the peops of a religious persuasion. One of my ex girlfriends Mum would not watch or allow her daughters to watch anything relating to Anti Christ, Satan, Alternative Religions or any trivialisation of the Little dude on the stick, (needless to say her daughters both wild Hard Rocking fun Girls. and now she is a Pagan, and her sis a Buddhist)

That is definately a Grin to end all grins, I'm suprised he didn't cramp his eybrows, Even in normal gravity he peobably would have been high stepping it. (I wonder if he had the urge to jump and click his heels ) He looks like the cat that got not only the cream, but the Goose the Lamb and the rest of the christmas dinner as well.

I prayed to God that for the benefit of my soul and my freedom that he would deliver me a Bicycle to allow me to exp, lore under my own freedom the wonderous works of his creation, and revel in what had been achieved in his name.
But I then learned I was a Catholic, So I stole one and asked for his forgiveness.

How about utilising stock Air or Nitrogen Air Mix, this will produce expansive cooling similar to CO 2 lessens the hazards regarding gas concentration, and the regulators are easier to find you could combine the Smoke machine with output from a remote valved Compressor/Air Cylinder which would help give a more powerful snort and help flush residual smoke out quicker Just thinking of the noise you could make with that. I once made an ammonium chloride Generator that pushed a cloud out Quickly and Powerfully (due to the slightly controlled explosive nature), but is not the quickest stuff to clear or the nicest stuff to be around

My Real Name is Lee,
However I get called Furi (pronounced Fury), Kitten, Furry, FurryKitten, Puddytat, A***hole, Softlad, etc. Also at my Local one guy calls me Liam, and another Ian.
Anyone travelling to Darlington, should drop by the Quakerhouse for a good Pint and a Good Laugh.
Have seriously considered Legally changing my name To Furi Kitten, But it would really upset my grandparents
*Edit Just remembered some contract specific nicknames, Trotsky, Zhukov (not sure if it was the Chmist or Military Leader both could have been relevant) Test Tube, Rancid Rooster, RabidFish, Noise Terror, Joseph (mostly due to me having a mohawk of various Colours) and bizarre ones which could be attributed to no particular fact or cause, Jaffa Cake, Naresh, sukoshi, and JellyBean. =^..^=
