Many HBs think that only the "top people" at NASA knew that the landings were to be faked, and they contracted out the design and manufacture of the relevant hardware to companies who believed that the program was real. So the engineers at Grunman, not knowing about the hoax, built a vehicle that was actually capable of landing on the moon. For example, they removed the seats in order to reduce LM weight, because of the limitations placed on them by NASA engineers. Don't the HBs ever say this stuff out loud, or think about it what they copy and paste? If they did, they'd realise how dumb it all was.

I liked his animations; most HBs don't go to the effort of producing such elaborate things.

This is what we get up to when there isn't a HB to debate with. As much as they annoy me when they're here, I do miss the little scamps when they scuttle away after Jay and the rest of the gang give them a drubbing.

And that my liege is how we know the world to be banana-shaped. This new learning amazes me, Sir Bedevere. Explain again how sheep's bladders may be employed to prevent earthquakes.

Mike Collins did spend a lot of time on Apollo 11 vacuuming up you know. Space dirt gets everywhere. He mentioned it in his book. But he didn't need to vacuum the outside, cos its already a vacuum out there, hence the LM was already vacuumed. And even if he did go outside to vacuum, he would have died due to the Van Halen Belt hitting him. I have been drinking. Not to mention the Van Halen's trousers falling down. I think we've hit upon something here - let us away to DavidIcke.com where free thinkers and scholars like ourselves will be welcomed and applauded.

A Fortean Times article: www.forteantimes.com/features/articles/1302/lost_in_space.htmldiscusses the Italian brothers Achille and Gian Judica-Cordiglia who supposedly listened in on Soviet Union communications with dying and doomed astronauts before Gagarin made his flight. Nothing I have read on the subject indicates that there where pre Gagarin "lost cosmonauts", not to mention the info coming out of post communist Russia doesn't support any of this conjecture. But it keeps coming up again and again - could there be anything to it, or is it just a case of an urban myth / myths?

They can't, so they relentlessly concentrate on tiny details which they then insist proves the falsity of the whole. Rodin is a good example of this - check out his recent threads.

Yep, the gold mylar should have been "tarnished" and "dusty" after traveling in space. Mike Collins did spend a lot of time on Apollo 11 vacuuming up you know. Space dirt gets everywhere. He mentioned it in his book.

I found this gem on YouTube.
The majority of comments, as usual, are that special kind of stupid we all know and love.

Huh. I guess the numerous companies actually called Nemesis and not based in Greece would blow his tiny little mind then.... Also, Nemesis is an English word. The Greek version is Νέμεσις, which doesn't look much like Siemens to me. I'm going to use that, if you don't mind.......

My latest amusement is a conversation with someone I suspect to be 15 (from comments in another thread denying he's 15) who thinks that mammoths are a hoax. As a strictly epistemological exercise it's pretty interesting, and I've always liked mammoths and mastodons. But MAN those people are stubborn with their stupidity. I'm having a similar conversation with a guy who thinks the German company Siemens is actually Greek, because Siemens is an anagram of the greek word "nemesis".

Oh, I suspect he is capable of going even further into the depths of absurdity. You need to check out some of his work at DavidIcke.com, he's quite the expert on the Zapruder footage and the JFK assassination (apparently Jackie did it).
